The adjustable stopper with fuse also ensures safety. This own invention by Luna Skates enables you to adjust your Luna Skates according to your particular preferences and your skating style. At the same time, this ensures that the stoppers remain absolutely securely in the desired position. If the stoppers or wheels are worn out, you will find the right spare parts in our shop.
Find the right size
The best thing to do is to simply measure your foot (or the insole of an existing shoe) and then choose the right size. Generally, we find these to size small, so if you are a size 39 - 39.5, we advise to take a size 40. Definitely have a look at the millimeters! We find the inside dimension to be the best reference. Note that this is merely advise, you choose your own size.
|Shoe size||Inside dimension||suitable up to foot size|
|38||24.6 cm||23.6 cm|
|39||25.2 cm||24.2 cm|
|40||25.8 cm||24.8 cm|
|41||26.5 cm||25.5 cm|
|42||27.2 cm||26.2 cm|
Note: Since leather is a natural product, slight color deviations are possible. The marking in the shoe is "mixed fabric" because the heel area is provided with a Lycra fabric.

Looks: I appreciate the slim profile of the boots, and I love that I don't have to fuss with boot covers for these skates because the black suede will probably hide any dirt or scuff marks, which is definitely something I worry about with my pastel colored vegan boots. Fit: I thought they would be a little snug on me since my foot size (with thick socks) is 25.2 cm, but the size 39s fit me perfectly! I could raise my toes inside the toe box, which I've heard people mention but I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. My foot is a bit wide, but I didn't feel any painful rubbing against the sides of my foot. Comfort: The suede has enough support that I don't feel like my ankles would snap if I jumped, but are also flexible enough that I didn't really need much of a break in period. The only part that I have to "break in" is the top of the tongue, which is rather stiff and kinda rubbed against my skin, but long socks will fix that. The tongue is also REALLY padded and didn't slip to the side like I heard other suede boots do, and the Lycra ankle cuff means I didn't get any blisters at all. Wheels: I don't have much experience with various wheels, but they are smoother than I expected. The stock bearings also gave me a smooth roll, so I didn't even need to adjust them. Plate: The plates look nylon, but they're actually a spray-painted aluminium frame. I thought that these would make the skates heavy, but the entire stock setup felt much lighter than my Chaya Melrose Elites. Overall: If I could recommend any skates to anyone looking to start skating, I would totally recommend these the Luna skates. They're excellent quality skates for the price. They feel a lot more responsive then my Chayas, and I can definitely see myself sticking to the Luna skates for all my future skate setups. I'd recommend these for jam skating, although I've seen videos of people using these in skate parks.
