Moxi roller skates are the baby of Michelle Steilen aka Estro Jen or @estrojen. You know her as a professional roller skater and as a stunt double for actress Margot Robbie in her lead role as Harley Quinn in the hit film 'Birds of Prey'. Michelle's ambition? "I am committed to making roller skates the official shoes of the future." The fame and popularity of her brand already indicate that she is on the right track.

    Why choose Moxi roller skates?

You buy Moxi roller skates because you can be sure of the quality and comfort offered by a real top brand. Michelle Steilen's colourful designs have been produced since 2008 by Riedell, the biggest brand in the roller skate world.

Moxi's range is very broad, from accessible to premium, suitable for recreational roller skating, dancing and the skate park, among others. Moreover, all Moxi roller skates are designed and tested by skaters, ethically made and hand-stitched with care.

Moxi aims to get people all over the world skating, by providing roller skates and associated materials, such as clothing and means of protection, of the highest quality. Their passion and exuberance in doing so is fully reflected in their products.

Different models of Moxi roller skates

Where to start? We pick a few models from the wide range of Moxi roller skates and briefly introduce them.

    • Rainbow Rider: ideal for beginners, wide fit, features height-adjustable brakes and outer wheels
    • Beach Bunny: ideal for beginners with ambitions to get the most out of their skates, equipped with outer wheels and height-adjustable and interchangeable brakes
    • Panther: the Bunny's sister, but made of leather and therefore slightly more expensive
    • Lolly: top quality American boots, elegant and supple leather shoes that nicely follow the shape of the foot, perfect for the more experienced skater looking for a comfortable and high-quality shoe to combine with any undercarriage, half sizes only available on order and at an additional cost
    • Lolly Skates: the Lolly boots with a light, basic chassis with adjustable brakes and high-quality outdoor wheels that are ideal for covering longer distances, for example
    • Jack: top-quality American boots that offer more ankle support thanks to extra reinforcement and are therefore made for the skate park or skaters who need extra support
    • Jack 2: perfect for more aggressive work in the skate park thanks to the combination of rigidity, comfort thanks to the quality finish inside and maximum ankle support, available in half sizes and different colours

3 tips for Moxi roller skates

Use Moxi roller skates for what they are designed for. A basic model is quality, but still has its limitations. For example, they break down faster when skating more aggressively in the park.

Extend the life of your Moxi roller skates by giving them the maintenance they deserve.

    • Before roller skating: check that your brakes (toe stops) are tight, that your wheels do not wobble but spin smoothly and that your insoles fit perfectly in your roller skates.
    • During roller skating: avoid rain puddles so that water does not rust your wheel bearings.
    • After roller skating: loosen your laces and remove the tongue from your boots to air out the insides, check both brakes again.

Moxi roller skates are only available in US women's sizing, from 4 to 11. To make sure you order the right size and don't pay unnecessary shipping costs, measure the longest distance between your heel and your longest toes or convert your European shoe size to the Moxi size. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
