Buy indoor skate wheels at Sucker Punch

No wheels, no roller skating. But not every wheel rolls equally well on every surface. These indoor skate wheels are made specifically for the smooth floors of a sports hall, roller rink or wooden dance floor.

At Sucker Punch Skate Shop you’ll find the largest range of indoor roller skate wheels in Europe, from grippy derby wheels to slick dance wheels. So there’s always a set that fits your style perfectly.

Why separate indoor wheels?

One word: hardness. Indoor floors are smooth and predictable. That calls for different wheels than rough asphalt outside. Indoor roller skate wheels are harder and often narrower, so they roll faster and feel more agile.

Where soft outdoor wheels absorb shocks, indoor wheels are all about control. You get exactly enough grip to push off and carve corners, without sticking to the floor.

Our top brands for indoor roller skate wheels

Our collection holds nothing but quality indoor wheels from the best brands. They offer wheels in different colours, diameters and hardnesses, so you can dial in your setup exactly the way you like it.

  • Radar Wheels: the popular Halo, Villain and Crush, known for grip and durability.
  • Atom: versatile wheels like the Poison and Savant—light and fast.
  • Riedell: the Sonar wheels, with a set to match every level.
  • Roll Line, Komplex and Chaya: refined models for dance and artistic.
  • Sure Grip, RollerBones and our house brand: strong value for money.

From budget-friendly to competition level—it’s all ready for you in stock.

Choosing the right indoor roller skate wheels

Wheel hardness is expressed as a durometer: a number followed by the letter A. The higher the number, the harder the wheel. Keep these 3 factors in mind:

Hardness (durometer)

  • 88A–93A = softer, more grip on slick and dusty floors.
  • 94A–97A = all-round, the safest bet if you’re unsure.
  • 98A–103A = hard and fast, ideal on grippy sports floors.

Your weight

  • Heavier skaters often pick a slightly harder wheel for the same feel.
  • Lighter skaters get more grip out of a softer wheel.

Width

  • Wider wheels = more grip and stability.
  • Narrow wheels = more agility, handy for dance and artistic.

Indoor skate wheels by discipline

Every skate style calls for the right roller skate wheels.

  • Roller derby: grip and stability to push off explosively and take corners tight.
  • Dance & rhythm: slicker, agile wheels that turn smoothly through spins and slides.
  • Artistic: narrow wheels with a fine balance between grip and glide.
  • Recreational indoor: an all-round wheel that feels comfortable and predictable.
